Job description

Urban Life Solutions is currently looking for Skid Steer Operator to work in Calgary within the Landscape Construction division. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in construction sites for industrial, municipal, and commercial properties, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
  • Working in accordance with ULS policies and procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Manual snow removal
  • Additional tasks as required

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License (class 5) and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
  • Working knowledge of the use of skid steer and common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance and snow removal
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
  • Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
  • Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
  • Physically Demanding position
  • Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
  • Repetitive Motions
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
