Fleet and Facility Attendant

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Fleet & Facility Manager, this position will be responsible for carrying out tasks involved with the organized parking, cleaning and basic repairs of vehicles & equipment used within the Landscape Maintenance & Construction and Towing divisions. This role makes use of the Class 1 drivers Licence.

Major Responsibilities:

• Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices always
• Pressure washing and cleaning equipment / vehicles
• Fueling and parking of vehicles
• Assisting Technicians
• Clean Shop
• Assist with yard rotation
• Doing parts run
• Damage/incident reporting
• Connect and back up trailers, moving of Cat equipment
• Basic write up of vehicles for service and repairs as needed into computer system
• Organization of equipment and vehicles in the yard
• Pushing and pulling of damaged equipment
• Additional tasks as required

Basic/Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Valid Driver’s License (class 5), ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract and own reliable transportation
• Strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed
• Ability to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team
